Special delegations from China & Japan meet Ranil

Sri Lankan Prime Minister met with special Chinese and Japanese delegations yesterday.
Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Wang Qinmin called on Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees yesterday. Deputy Director General of Asian Affairs Department of Chinese Foreign Ministry Mao Ning, Chinese were also present.

Meanwhile, in another meeting Japanese Minister of Reconstruction and Chairman of the Japan-Sri Lanka Parliamentarians League Wataru Takeshita, and Yoichi Anami of the Liberal Democratic Party, who visited the country to attend the 70th Independence Anniversary celebrations called on Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees yesterday.

During this meeting, Japanese Ambassador in Sri Lanka Kenichi Suganuma and Hiroshi Ishikawa Director General of the Japanese Foreign Ministry’s Asian and Oceanic Affairs Bureau were present.
